It was difficult finding a list of herps for this county. I could only find state lists and since NC is so vast that didn't help me much. I checked out a book "Amphibians & Reptiles of the Carolinas and Virginia" by Jeffery C. Beane, Alvin L. Braswell, Joseph C. Mitchell, William M. Palmer, and Julian R. Harrison III. I flipped through all of the range maps for each species depicted and have come up with this list of species for Onslow according to this book. Also herpsofnc.org has range maps if you can't get ahold of this book.
